Academic Support and Retention works to align functional areas with broader student success priorities as outlined in institutional strategic plans. This includes, but is not limited to:
Support students in their academic success by coordinating evidence-based academic support offerings for key courses
Evaluate stages of the student experience and work with campus partners to identify and address barriers
Contribute to the rich landscape of campus high impact practices and mentoring through peer mentoring opportunities, mentored campus employment, and guided support for peers offering academic support
Facilitate college readiness efforts with campus partners and at the state level to enhance college readiness and academic success
Cultivate a campus culture of data-informed decisions by engaging in continuous examination and inquiry about the student experience to tailor support and programmatic efforts
