Biography

Harold Walehwa serves as a Graduate Intern for the Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Peer Led Undergraduate Study (PLUS) programs. This entails supervising students who work in the Academic Resource Center (ARC), which includes a combination of SI & PLUS Leaders, who are academic course-based peer mentors, and ARC Receptionists in any given semester. He is a first-year Master of Arts student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program and has been a part of Academic Support & Retention since August 2022. Harold recently graduated from Coe College, where he received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in African American Studies and Social & Criminal Justice, with a minor in History. Harold's passions lie in student advocacy, social justice, and equity work. His career goal is to become a Chief Diversity Officer at a college or university in the future.
