Biography
Quratulain Zulfiqar serves as a Graduate Intern at the Office of Academic Support & Retention (AS&R) at the University of Iowa. She has been a dedicated professional in the field of education, currently pursuing a Higher Education and Student Affairs degree at the College of Education, University of Iowa. With a strong background in educational administration and a passion for student development, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Previously, Quratulain worked at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), one of the top private universities in Pakistan, as a Team Lead. In this role, she advised undergraduate and graduate students seeking job opportunities, internships, graduate school information, and career development through one-on-one appointments. She also implemented modules of professional development to prepare students for progressive career paths, including employment, entrepreneurship, and higher education. This role honed her skills in student advising, college readiness, and student support, which are invaluable in her current work.
Quratulain is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students and is actively involved in various initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and success.
