Olivia Young serves as a Programs Assistant in Academic Support & Retention at the University of Iowa. She works with the Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Peer Lead Undergraduate Study (PLUS) programs, primarily supervising student leaders in the SI program. Olivia worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for 3 years of her undergraduate studies and uses her experience in the role to provide guidance and support for current leaders. Olivia graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2024 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Health Sciences and Violin Performance. Olivia is passionate about developing student independence and autonomy in their coursework through advocating for an expansion of resources.
