Zoe Newman serves as an Assistant Director within Academic Support & Retention at the University of Iowa. She has a Master of Professional Studies degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland. In her role in Academic Support & Retention, Zoe co-coordinates First Gen Hawks, which provides 200 new Hawkeyes a way to engage in activities that enhance the college experience within and beyond the classroom through experiential learning. Prior to joining the Academic Support & Retention team, Zoe worked in Sports Sponsorship, Undergraduate Admissions, and Graduate Programs at several institutions, including Pennsylvania State University and Loyola University Maryland. Zoe’s passion lies in mentoring students. Zoe loves challenging and supporting students so they may become the best version of themselves.
